Backsplash done right?

I'm doing more backsplash research, mostly because I don't know how we're going to extend the fine, sleek look of our AnnSacks tile (see last post) to another part of the room. If we don't do this, our backsplash "feature"--which is, at the moment, only on the cooktop wall--may look lonely from a design standpoint.
