It ain't baseball, and it ain't apple pie. But it is fun, challenging and a totally addictive way to relax.
SuDoku, where have you been all my life?
Heck, I suck at numbers (ok,so I'm not as bad as most liberal arts folks I know), but I can sure count from 1 to 9 and still have a finger left over (so there!).
Seriously though. If you need a little break from your job, raking leaves or shoveling snow or just to take a mental breather from whatever ails you, try this deceptively simple little game sometime. For an online version go here (that one's pretty good) or here (haven't tried that yet). One more here (yikes on interface, but always an "A" for addiction).
For the Mac lover, my favorite is MacSudoku, a bargain at a mere 10 bucks. And for a limited time only--just for you--$9.99!
Note: I pretty much suck at HTML coding, so I'll just dump a Sudoku of the Day link right here (can't seem to jam it in my sidebars). Enjoy.
** Sing this line to the tune from the old Willie Wonka movie. Remember when Charlie Bucket sings "I've got a golden ticket"? That's the one. And get an old geezer out of bed and make 'em dance. Worked for Charlie.
